What You'll Do in This Role
Working in a Day Program involves leading and supporting group activities that encourage participation, learning, and social connection. Staff create a positive, engaging environment while helping individuals develop practical skills and enjoy meaningful experiences throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate group activities focused on skill-building, recreation, and social engagement • Support participants in following daily schedules and structured routines • Encourage participation, communication, and peer interaction • Assist with personal care needs when required • Help coordinate and supervise community outings and activities • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive group environment • Document participation and communicate with the support team as needed

• Leading or assisting with group activities throughout the day • Supporting participants during transitions between activities • Encouraging social interaction and teamwork • Supervising outings in the community • Creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for all participants
